Françoise “Shinkyo” Badet

Françoise was born in 1950 in Paris and graduated from the Sorbona university where she studied philosophy. From 1977 to 1984 she practiced and lived in the group of the spiritual leader Gurdjief. In 1984 she began practicing zen with Sando Kaisen. In May 1985 she received an ordination for bodhisattva (Jisho) from the hands of Master Stephane Kosen Thibault in Gendronniere, and later, in 1987, she received an ordination for a nun (Shinkyo) from Sando Kaisen.

She followed Master Sando Kaisen´s teachings and lived in many monasteries founded by him: “Zenrin Ji”, “Gyobutsu-ji”, then “Sei Sho Ji”, where she became the vice-abbess, and “Ho Sho Ji” (The Peak of Light), where she became the superior abbess. Since 1991 she has been accompanying Sando Kaisen on his missions in the Eastern Europe. She was also a secretary, tenzo, treasurer and the administrator of the temple. Lately she has been transmitting the quiet sitting position in Russia.

She obtained the Transmission of the Dharma in “The Peak of Light” Temple on 4th September 2011 and received a title of a Reverend.

Chantal “Jisei” Laurent

Born in 1961.
Began with the practice in 1990.
Received an ordination for a nun in 1992.
A personal secretary of the Master and the Association since 1994.

She leads the dojo of Absolute Emptiness in Bergerac.

She obtained the Transmission of the Dharma in “The Peak of Light” Temple on 20th Novembre 2011 and received a title of a Reverend.

Ariane “Ji Yu Ni” Lecourt

Born in 1961.
She began practicing in 1991.
She received an ordination for a nun on 7th February 1993.
She was a tenzo (chef) for 7 years in temples Sei Sho Ji and Ho Sho Ji.

She has accompanied the Master in the Eastern Europe during his missions and she leads several dojos.

She obtained the Transmission of the Dharma in “The Peak of Light” Temple on 20th Novembre 2011 and received a title of a Reverend.

Nun Ji Yu Ni


Agnés “Eihei” Gouaud

Born in 1948.
She met the Master in 1985.
She received an ordination for a nun in 1999.
For a long time she has been the treasurer of the Association and she has had several other responsibilities.
She has accompanied the Master in the Eastern Europe during his missions and she leads several dojos.

She obtained the Transmission of the Dharma in “The Peak of Light” on 20th Novembre 2011 and received a title of a Reverend.

Alexandra “Eiki” Migacz

Born in 1973 in Cracow.
She began practicing in October 1993.
She has been responsible for leading the mission in Poland for many years.
She has been interpreting for the Master and organizing missions and sesshins.
She worked as a tenzo.
She has been leading the mission in Ukraine for several years.

She obtained the Transmission of the Dharma from Master Sando Kaisen in “The Peak of Light” Temple on 15th May 2012 and received a title of a Reverend.

Tomasz “Keiji” Dąbrowski

Born in 1975 in Cracow.
He began practicing in March 1996.
He has led several dojos in Poland and he was a treasures of the Association in Poland.
He has been leading and developing the mission in the Czech Republic for several years.
He traveled with Master Sando Kaisen in Japan.
In 2012 he is going to start a mission in the north of France and in Paris.

He obtained the Transmission of the Dharma from Master Sando Kaisen in “The Peak of Light” Temple on 15th May 2012 and received a title of a Reverend.

Radek “Bansei” Steiger

Born on 25th April in 1974.
He began practicing in 1992.
He has been assisting the mission in the Czech Republic since its very beginning.
He received an ordination for a monk in 2005.
He leads dojos in Prague, Usti nad Labem and Litvinov.

He obtained the Transmission of the Dharma from Master Sando Kaisen in “The Peak of Light” Temple on 15th May 2012 and received a title of a Reverend.
