The Buddha´s position.
The legs are crossed, the back is straight, eyes are open, the look is directed down in front of us. Focus on the breathing, to forget yourselves.
To forget yourselves means that you will let the basic consciousness act freely and without restraints. This practice, such as it is, is nothing but the awakening itself, that has been transmitted and confirmed for over 2 500 years.
In zen there is nothing to meditate about.
The awakening is nothing but practicing zazen.
There are many satori in zen, they come and go and are not important.
Do not attach yourselves to satori, that is the teaching of Master Dogen.
Buddha has nothing to do with Buddhism.
Buddha is the basic essence, which is present in all of us.
We can reach is through the realization of the awakening.
